Terms & Conditions

1. Service provider

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern the use of the online parking reservation service operated at parkingbudapest.com (the "Service") for the parking facility located at Holló utca 12–14, 1075 Budapest, Hungary (the "Garage"). By making a reservation you agree to these Terms.

2. Contract & language

A binding contract is concluded between you (the "Customer") and us once your online payment is successfully processed and you receive the confirmation e-mail with your reservation number. The language of the contract is English. The contract is not filed by us; please retain the confirmation e-mail for your records.

3. Reservations

• The minimum reservation period is one day. Hourly reservations are not available.
• Only online reservations are accepted.
• Prices shown include all applicable Hungarian taxes (VAT/ÁFA).
• The reserved space is allocated to a single passenger vehicle that fits within the Garage's clearance of 2.15 m.
• LPG-powered vehicles are not permitted on the premises in accordance with the condominium's house rules.
• Electric vehicle charging is not provided.

4. Payment

Payment is taken online at the time of booking via our payment processor. Card details are handled by the processor and are not stored by us. The total amount, currency and any fees are shown before you confirm the reservation.

5. Right of withdrawal

The Service relates to accommodation, transport of goods, vehicle rental services, catering or services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (transposed in Hungary by Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.)), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to such services. Accordingly, all reservations are final and non-refundable. By completing the booking, you expressly acknowledge that you lose any right of withdrawal once the contract is concluded.

6. Arrival, departure & access

You may enter and exit the Garage freely during your reservation period. If you arrive later than the reserved start time, the reservation continues to apply but is not extended. If you stay beyond the reserved departure time without booking an extension, an overstay fee equal to one additional day may be charged, and access may be suspended.

7. House rules

• Drive at walking speed inside the Garage and follow all signage.
• Lock your vehicle and take valuables with you.
• Do not block other spaces, emergency exits or the ramp.
• Smoking, open flames and refuelling are strictly prohibited.
• Vehicles leaking fluids, visibly damaged or unroadworthy may be refused entry.

8. Liability

The Garage is an unguarded, self-service parking facility. We provide only the use of the parking space; we do not enter into a custody, safekeeping or bailment relationship in respect of your vehicle or its contents.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Hungarian and EU law, we exclude all liability for:

• theft of, or damage to, the vehicle or any items in or on it;
• damage caused by other users of the Garage, third parties or visitors;
• damage caused by force majeure, fire, water, power failure or acts of public authorities;
• indirect, consequential or economic loss of any kind (including loss of use, loss of profit or missed appointments).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Hungarian or EU law, including liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. You remain responsible for any damage you, your passengers or your vehicle cause to the Garage, its equipment or to other users, and you confirm that your vehicle is covered by a valid motor third-party liability (KGFB) insurance as required by Hungarian law.

9. Changes & cancellations

If you need to change a reservation, please contact us by e-mail as soon as possible and we will try to help. Changes are subject to availability and we are not obliged to grant them. Refunds are not provided (see section 5).

10. Complaints & dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first by e-mail so we can try to resolve it directly. Consumers resident in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact the conciliation body competent at the consumer's place of residence in Hungary (békéltető testület).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of the country where the consumer is habitually resident continue to apply. Disputes shall be settled by the courts competent under Hungarian procedural law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that reservation.
